About the Ayn Rand Institute

The goal of the Ayn Rand Institute is to promote the spread of the Objectivist philosophy by means of educational activities. Founded in 1985, ARI works to foster awareness, understanding and acceptance of Rand’s philosophy, Objectivism, in order to create a culture whose guiding principles are reason, rational self-interest, individualism and laissez-faire capitalism — a culture in which individuals are free to pursue their own happiness.
